Many of our journeys - mostly not possible to imitate -
are specifically
conceived for enthuses hikers, who would also gladly at least once like
to achieve high summits or far away countries, but so far still have no
or only little mountaineering experience.
Where it appears necessary to us, we take a few days more time, to get
optimal high-altitude acclimatization and also to allow beginners to warm
up mountaineering (or for supporting training).
Almost all journeys are accompanied by one our DAKS mountain-guides, who
together with the local team cares for the group and for a smooth, safe
travel-progress. In the mountains our experienced guide naturally looks
for the greatest possible security and helps among other things with his
hints, an optimal walking speed … that especially beginners will
get the chance to successfully reach the summits or other high aims.
Of course you can also find a various number of tours and expeditions
for advanced mountain climbers in our program as well as a sophisticated
mountain climber training program...
... and since several years with high experience also interesting diving
vacations, adventurous dog-sledding routes and fishing tours.

International Groups
For many years our travel groups already consist of participants of diverse European countries.
All worldwide journeys (Hiking, Trekking, expeditions outside central-europe) are cared about in two languages (English and German) - besides this some of our mountain guides speak Italian or French.
Also in the following specified selected mountaineering-weeks (hiking, climbing, skiing, ...) in the European alps, the DAKS mountainguides mostly speak English and German!
